About me
Melissa Davis is a proud mother of three, and passionate about the work she does for children and families. A graduate of Texas A&M University…Whoop!...she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has since built a meaningful and impactful career in Early Childhood Intervention.
For the past 19 years, Melissa has been a committed member of the Brighton team, where she has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless families. She spent 14 of those years as an Early Intervention Specialist, working directly with young children and their caregivers to support developmental growth and empower families through education and guidance. Her hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for her current role as the Learning and Compliance Lead within the Quality Control department for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI). In this leadership position, Melissa not only ensures program quality and compliance but also serves as a vital support system for staff, helping them succeed in delivering the best possible care and services.
Melissa’s passion has always centered around working with children and their families. Whether directly in the field or now in a leadership capacity, she finds purpose in making a difference and supporting others in doing the same. She takes pride in being a resource, mentor, and trainer for her colleagues as they carry out the important work of early intervention.
One of Melissa’s favorite parts of her work is collaborating with interagency teams and community partners. She values the opportunity to build strong relationships across organizations to ensure families receive comprehensive, coordinated support. Melissa believes that meaningful collaboration is key to creating successful outcomes for children and enjoys working alongside others who share the same commitment to serving families.
Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband are celebrating nearly 21 years of marriage, and together they have raised three energetic boys, ages 17, 14, and 11. As a self-proclaimed “boy mom” and proud soccer mom, much of her free time is spent cheering on her two youngest sons as they compete on select soccer teams. Family is at the center of everything she does, and she treasures time spent with her loved ones, including their three dogs.
Melissa’s life is a reflection of her values: dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to supporting others. Whether at work or at home, she leads with heart and purpose, making a meaningful impact in every role she holds.
